This Evangelion Unit 01, created by sculptor Shinobu Matsumura, was released as a garage kit when the TV anime “Neon Genesis Evangelion” was broadcast. It is a masterpiece modeling
work packed with various elements, such as a bold arrangement of biological elements while respecting the original design, and a base of the angel that was created by cutting down the expression of muscles and the amount of information without reducing it.
For the plastic kit, the prototype was replaced with 3D data and resized to a total height of about 230 mm, and refined by Shinobu Matsumura himself. It comes with exposed pectoral muscles with peeled armor and a hand holding a progressive knife.
This product, which was reborn as a plastic kit and received a good reputation, is being reproduced in the milestone year of the 30th anniversary of the broadcast of Evangelion!
